This water drop looked like a crown to me. What does it look like to you?

Artist's Commentary:
I had a blast experimenting with these micro shots. Being someone who loves colour, I planned different shots with different colours. I used assorted papers to provide the colours you see. At the time, I shot this I didn't own enough flashes to illuminate the water the way I would have wanted so I took the production outside in the noon sun and shot away. My daughter is holding a dripping garden hose above a bowl of water while I shoot.

The hardest part for me was getting the depth of field where I wanted it and getting the drop in focus. My eyes aren't that hot so I have a hard time trusting myself to know when something is clear. The trick for me is to take hundreds of shots in a session like this and then discard the vast majority.
