Description
The nice thing about building a castle on a lake is that the surf never washes it away.
Artist's Commentary:
Each summer since I was a child we went to Penticton to visit my dear Grandma and Grandpa. Grandfather passed away at 99 years old in (I think) 2003 Grandmother passed away at 99 10 years later in 2013. I'm not sure if there will be more visits now that the reason is gone.
Familiarity is a funny thing. The sand in Penticton is the way sand should be. The water the temperature water should be - well you get the idea. The beach there feels warmly comforting and familiar. This picture warms my soul and stirs my mind with happy memories. I hope it does the same for you.
Artist's Finishing Recommendations:
FAA's fashionable and luminescent Acrylic Print would be my pick to compliment and enhance the vibrant colours of this piece. There are numerous attractive custom framing/matting options available to suit any decor. I encourage you to experiment by clicking on the finishing icons located above this text to choose your favorite finishing.
