Description
This is so gentle and loving. It would look wonderful in a baby's room or anywhere you want to make people feel nurtured or loved.
Colour Symbolism:
The colour pink represents compassion, nurturing and love. It has the passion of red but is softened with the purity, openness and completeness of white giving it a gentle loving energy.
Pink is intuitive and insightful, showing tenderness and kindness with its empathy and sensitivity.
In color psychology, pink is a sign of hope. It is a positive color inspiring warm and comforting feelings, a sense that everything will be okay.
Pink calms and reassures our emotional energies, alleviating feelings of anger, aggression, resentment, abandonment and neglect.
Artist's Commentary:
This photo is not digitally altered. I shot it during an obsession I had with colour. This was actually taken in a neighbour's garden. I would walk around with reams of coloured paper and my camera equipment and experiment with different coloured backdrops. It was an excellent learning experience (though I am sure I looked a bit odd)
Artist's Finishing Recommendations:
FAA's fashionable and luminescent Acrylic Print would be my pick to compliment and enhance the vibrant colours of this piece. There are numerous attractive custom framing/matting options available to suit any decor. I encourage you to experiment by clicking on the finishing icons located above this text to choose your favorite finishing.
